Repairs, service and testing

Please contact Millbrook on 03332 408 335 and your call will be answered by a member of customer services who will arrange for a technician to come out if required.

Millbrook offers an out of hours repair service 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year for all essential items, e.g. hoists, dynamic pressure care mattresses, etc.

All electrical and lifting equipment requires an annual service/test. Millbrook has records of all equipment issued and will contact you near the due date to arrange a convenient time to visit and carry out the service.

All electrical equipment carries a label which displays the due date of the next test.  If you have not been contacted, and the due date has passed, please contact Millbrook on the number above to arrange a priority visit.

Returning equipment

There are three ways you can return your equipment, either:

  • tell your carer, social or healthcare professional, who will arrange with Millbrook to collect it.
  • or contact Millbrook directly on the number shown above. If you do this, Millbrook will sometimes contact your social or healthcare professional to confirm that collecting this piece of equipment is advisable.
  • or you can drop off the equipment directly to Millbrook’s depot at the address given above or your carer, social or healthcare professional can advise you of other locations to which the equipment can be taken.
